East York, Toronto
A tired 1950s roof became the anchor for the home's energy plan. We rebuilt the deck, added continuous insulation, then set the array and inverter so the family covers most of its annual draw.
Scope: Roof rebuild, 8.4 kW rooftop PV array, battery backup, attic insulation upgrade
Leaside, Toronto
Removing a bearing wall opened the rear of the house to light. Engineered beam, new footings, upgraded electrical, and a kitchen built around white oak and a single continuous stone counter.
Scope: Structural beam, full kitchen, new windows, radiant floor, LED lighting design
Danforth, Toronto
A corner lot rebuilt as retail below and two suites above. Air-sealed envelope, heat pumps per unit and dark charred-timber cladding chosen for durability against the street exposure.
Scope: Ground-floor retail fit-out, two residential suites, high-performance envelope
